Their site had damaged pavement and rail line.
Scope of works
Remove rail line and concrete embedded sleepers; replace with adequate road base and drainage and then re-instate with AC14 heavy duty asphalt.
Challenges
Working within a limited time frame, other challenges included heavy traffic, underground services and restricted space for heavy plant and machinery.
Solutions
By scheduling weekend maintenance, HCH could forecast zero impact on plant production.
Results
Project was delivered on time and on budget with limited disruptions.
